Breaking: Obaseki, Wike, Makinde to Campaign for Gbadamosi. Lagos East Senatorial Election Mega Rally

Plans have been concluded to deal an early blow on Bola Ahmed Tinubu way ahead of the 2023 elections as newly reelected Edo state governor Godwin Obaseki has committed to fully campaign for Babatunde Gbanamosi the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP. Mr. Obaseki has vowed to phrase the Lagos East Senatorial Bye-Election as a referendum strongman of Lagos politics Mr. Tinubu who is self styled as APC “national leader” and the “godfather” of Nigerian politics. Sources close to the governor confirmed that governor Obaseki has enlisted the full and joint participation of the governor of Rivers State Mr. Nyesom Wike on the mission. Other governors on board with the project are Seyi Makinde of Oyo State and Okowa of Delta State.

Iya Yi To L’eko Movement, an anti Tinubu initiative will be the engine to be used to actualize this rally based on the level of penetration of its campaign against the rot in Lagos which has gone into the heart of Lagosians all over the world.

The strategy to be employed is to also mobilize resident from the South South and South East in Lagos to come out massively to vote for Gbadamosi who will be going against the candidate of the APC Tokunbo Abiru, a Tinubu imposition on the party. The thinking is that the momentum being carried from the Edo victory will embolden that segment of Lagos voters to come out and embolden their South West neighbours to also come out deal a decisive defeat on Tinubu and his candidate.

Governor Obaseki is said to be particularly irked by the arrogance of Mr. Tinubu treating the upcoming election as a coronation for the APC candidate Mr. Abiru who up till now was assumed would simply walk into the office. However, as far as Mr. Obaseki is concerned all that changed on Saturday with his own victory over what he termed godfatherism. The plan right now is firm that Obaseki, Wike, Makinde will headline a massive rally for Mr. Gbadamosi the candidate of the PDP. A Gbadamosi victory in the senate race will raise his profile for a 2023 governorship election in Lagos state.

BREAKING NEWS; IF YOU WILL –

The Hidden Facts many Pastors or Imams may not know:

There are more Christians in Palestine than in Israel. Palestine vernacular is Arabic.

There are more Israelis who are Muslims than those who are Christians.

The population of Palestine is 12 million. Approximately 7% or 840,000 of them are Christians.

In contrast, Israel population is 8.5million; only 2% or approximately 171,000 are Christians while 17.5% or approximately 1.5m are Muslims.

Now let us further break it down. Most of the 840,000 Palestinian Christians speak Arabic as their vernacular; and do not speak or understand English. Their Holy Bible is written in Arabic language.

In this Arabic Bible, God is called Allah and that is how God is called in Arabic language. Same way, for instance, in the Yoruba Bible, God is called Olorun and in Igbo Bible, He is called Chukwu

If Palestinian Christians mean to say “God is great”, they say “Allah Akbar.” And if they mean to say “Glory to God” they say “Alhamdulilahi.”

Whenever Palestinian Christian Preachers preach to their fauthfuls every Sunday, in their churches it is done in their vernacular, which is Arabic. Just like the Catholic Pope preaches in Latin, Sunday services in many parts of Egypt too, are conducted in Arabic because that is their native language.

Don’t let the fear mongers continue to spread fear and sow seed of discord among us.

Those saddled with the task of uniting us have become instruments of division.

Arabic is not Islam and Islam is not Arabic – one is a language, the other a religion.

Arabic is a language like English, like French, like German, like Spanish, like Hindi, like Yoruba, Hausa and Igbo, etc. They are is not religions.

Whoever likes another man’s English language and claims to hate another’s Arabic language because most Muslims speak Arabic and (also applicable) the other way round; that person is simply a SLAVE of accidental CIVILIZATION.

TAKE THIS AS THAT “KNOWLEDGE IS POWER” 💪.

RE: ASIWAJU BOLA AHMED TINUBU SPEAKS ON JUST CONCLUDED POLL!!!

Please disregard any post to the effect that His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has spoken on the Edo elections. The said statement is a fake one. It’s the antic of social media merchants of fake and unsubstantiated statements. It did not come from Asiwaju.

Those who know Asiwaju would recall that it’s not in his character to rush to issue statements. At the appropriate time, His Excellency Asiwaju will speak on the Edo election.

Thank you.

Edo Election: Oshiomhole blames Tinubu’s campaign video for APC loss, Says “El-Rufai was right on opinion poll favouring Ize-Iyamu”

Edo Election: Oshiomhole blames Tinubu’s campaign video for APC loss, Says “El-Rufai was right on opinion poll favouring Ize-Iyamu”

Immediate past National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Adams Oshiomhole, has insinuated that the video released by the party’s National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu contributed to party’s candidate, Pastor OsagieIze-Iyamu’s defeat in the last Saturday governorship election in Edo State.

Oshiomhole, who was speaking on the outcome of the election for the first time, said “Edo State people felt insulted by Tinubu’s campaign video and they reacted angrily against our party on Saturday.”

Tinubu, who is a former governor of Lagos State had released a recorded broadcast shortly before the election where he described Governor Godwin Obaseki as a dictator and called on the people to reject him at the polls.

Oshiomhole, who was said to have complained to some of his associates today, said it was Tinubu’s video that amplified the “Edo No Be Lagos” campaign, which presented the candidate, Ize-Iyamu as someone coming to be Governor to serve Tinubu.

“I agree with Governor Nasir El-Rufai, that opinion polls conducted shown that we will win. Obviously, something went wrong few days to the election and one of the things that went wrong was that video broadcast by Asiwaju.

“You can see the way the anti-Tinubu movement became so energised during the election because of the that ill-advised video.

“Many of our people interpreted Asiwaju’s comments as an indication that he wanted Edo to be a subdued territory under Lagos State and that affected our chances in the election,” Oshiomhole lamented.

If I were Deji Doherty – Segun Aeroland

LagosEast2020: If I am Deji Doherty, these would be my focus. – Segun Aeroland

It is important for me to speak on the forthcoming Lagos East Senatorial district election, slated for October 31st this year.

As we all know, we have a very serious work, if we must combat the ruling APC bumper to bumper, to achieve a resounding victory, just as we did over the weekend in Edo. I can tell you, from my experience, we can win Lagos East for PDP, with wide margin, yes, It is possible.

However, we can’t win with just mere words of mouth, or wishful thinking, or through series of media interviews. We must go about knocking door to door campaigning, just as the APC are doing, from the report I am getting.

If you move around Lagos East, it would be shocking to note that, only Tokunbo Aburi’s you’ll see everywhere. As much as we now have a candidate in the person of our brother BOG, only him cannot carry the financial burden associated with winning this election.

This is where, it is expected that, the State Chairman, Mr. Deji Doherty, will use his position to rally round all critical stakeholders in Lagos PDP, for fund raising. By now, we should have a standard Campaign Team, seperate from BOG’s team, so that both can be working hard in hand.

If by now, we don’t have committed and loyal members, who can adequately serve as our canvassers and polling agents. Then, I doubt our readiness for the election.

Mr. Chairman, should by now call a meeting of all our elected Reps members, and see how we can as a team queue behind BOG physically, financially and politically, for the purpose of the election.

Instead of Mr. Chairman junketting around, by teaming with those fighting Engr. Seyi Makinde, the only governor in South West, why not devote such energy in repositioning Lagos PDP, for the purpose of victory, so that he can have a record of having an elected Senator during his time as the State Chairman.

Mr. Chairman, if PDP wins and get massive good support from members of the party and general populace, it will be to your credit. So, start working now, and reach out.

“We should enjoy and take pleasure from our defeats as much as we take from our victories.

The extent and length they go to see us down shows how great we are.

Our defeats should be a lesson that we are not gods, that we are but men.

That we are mortals who suffer from set backs, betrayals… But if our fellow men see us as gods and celebrate our defeats like they’ve defeated gods, then surely we must be close to being gods.

They seek schadenfreude at our shrine but we only have to give, exactly what they hate us for.

Lagos PDP Chairman congratulates Obaseki, calls for vote against godfatherism in Lagos bye elections

Hon. Deji Doathy PDP chairman Lagos State

Lagos PDP Chairman congratulates Obaseki, calls for vote against godfatherism in Lagos bye elections

On behalf of the People’s Democratic Party, Lagos Chapter, I hereby congratulate the Governor elect of Edo State, Governor Godwin Obaseki for the mean feat of winning the September 20, 2020 Gubernatorial Election and particularly for fighting hard and standing firm against godfatherism in Edo state.

It would be recalled that on the 31st October 2020, there would be a bye election for the seats of the Lagos East Senatorial District and the Kosofe Constituency II House of Assembly.

We however call on the good people of Lagos State to take part in the forthcoming elections and come out en masse to say NO to godfatherism and the continuous strangle hold of Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the good people of Lagos State.

It is also noteworthy to state that the excesses of the National Leaders of the APC has been shown to be a fluke and a mirage . These excesses can be suppressed by the collective decisions and cooperation of the good people of Lagos State.

We, the members of the Peoples Democratic Party in Lagos State are ready to submit ourselves to the yearnings of the people.

We promise to deliver the dividends of democracy to the good people of Lagos State.

We again remind all and sundry that our freedom from the clutches of the APC can only be realized if we come out to vote in our candidates Mr Babatunde Gbadamosi and Hon. Ademola Alebiosu on the platform of the PDP during the forthcoming elections on 31st of October, 2020.

Once again we congratulate the Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki and the entire people of Edo State on this historical national victory against the oppressors of Good Governance.

A Vote For PDP is a Vote for Freedom!

Long Live the Federal Republic of Nigeria

What Is Left Of APC Is Just Respect For Buhari – Okorocha

Sen. Okorocha

Okorocha who addressed some journalists on Sunday in Abuja said that there is no more APC.

According to him, the party that is smarting from internal crisis after the 2019 general elections, died the day the leadership abandoned the progressive and democratic ideals on which it was founded.

Okorocha, who is also the Senator representing Imo West Senatorial District, said that apart from President Buhari, the other leaders of the political blocks that merged to form the party in 2015, were practically schemed out by forces that later joined the party.

“Permit me to give you the inside of APC, this word APC was formed by four major political parties that had governors, one was the CPC led by President Muhammadu Buhari, ACN led by Ahmed Tinubu, ANPP led by Ogbonnaya Onu who all brought their structure, APGA led by me brought in our structure. Every other person fell into this structure. The PDP group came in and joined us. I gave the name APC. I designed that logo and that was the beginning of the party and we had understanding.

“That is the party you call APC and unless we go back to where it all started, APC can never see the light of the day and that was how we started and that was what brought President Muhammadu Buhari to office.

“You cannot rule out the role of these four key people, then CPC has only one governor in Nasarawa, APGA had only one governor, ACN came with the chunk of the governors and ANPP had a few. And we shared the first positions equally among these four parties. Now the founding fathers of the part are relegated to the backgrounds and people are coming with different interests making us play the same kind of politics that PDP played,” Okorocha said.

He added, “There is no more APC, what we have is the respect for President Muhammadu Buhari, that is what is keeping us together. What we have is our respect for the person of President Buhari and we still believe that something can be done.

“That trust and respect is what we still call APC, outside that, respect for President Buhari and the trust and belief that he could wake up one day and correct all these injustices and make it fine. That is the only thing that is keeping the APC, if not that, I don’t think there is anything like APC because people are beginning to get fed up. Again, PDP is not even better, the party has its own challenges.

A founding member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha, has said that only respect for President Muhammadu Buhari is all that is left of the APC and that the crisis rocking the party was part of consequences for relegating the founding members.
