

Pressure mount has BOG remain silent
The death of Sen. Bayo Osinowo popularly known as “pepperito” who died after brief illness in June this year has given room for vacancy in the upper chamber. His death come as a rude shock to the people of Lagos east Senatorial district also to entire APC member.
This led INEC announced to all political parties to prepare for bye-election coming 31st of Oct. 2020 according to Nigeria constitution and electoral act that election should take place within three months if any vacancy in legislative chamber.
Babatunde Olalere Gbadamosi popularly known has BOG emerged as a winner after competing with other three gladiators in PDP primary election which held at the Kosofe party Secretariat late last month.
Since he has emerged, all focus has been on him to swing into action, and show preparedness to the party members and supporters.
The expectation of people on his actions have brought serious debate among the party members. This led to agitation of the party members and some leaders worrying on his slow action to the campaign which comes up 31st of Oct. 2020.
Some party loyalist are eager with high spirit to ought to have seen him coming out by now to create maximum awareness to people after their common counterpart in the race had started aggressive awareness and readiness to the race.
The former Polaris Bank MD Mr Tokunbo Abiru who emerged has APC candidate has gone far ahead on a courtesy visit across the Lagos east Senatorial district. Also had created maximum awareness and shown commitment to this race.
BOG dump approach to this coming election is worrisome, and the party member are yearning to know next point of action. As we all know that election doesn’t win by mouth but by action and ability to mobilize grassroots to vote.
