How long have you been into music?
I have been singing since 2012. That was approximately 11 years ago.
Since 2012, how many songs have you dropped so far?
To be honest. I have dropped so many songs, about 15 songs, and my first collaboration was with Terry G titled Tire Tire to my amazement, Terry G came to Europe back then, and I wanted to shoot the video with him, but he turned me down because the amount he called back then was so much for me to pay likewise, Solid star did the same thing that was 2014-2016 I felt disappointed, but I had to move on. My second album titled Isoko was released in 2021.
Have you done a full album of your music??
Yes! I just did that and it is titled Markido Empire.
I saw a shocking video of you where people were saying you are mad. When you came home recently on your return to Europe, what happened?
My brother, I am not mad. Nothing happened to me. What I just discovered about Nigerians is that bad news spreads more than good news and people love to hear something bad about you. That is when they can share it, it was just a skit I did to promote my music. Am not mad at all people spread negative related issue than positive. They did not watch the video to the end before they started spreading the news. Anyways, It’s just a strategy to raise awareness of my music.
Ever since I have done that mad video, people have been calling me from Nigeria to know what happened. In Nigeria, you have to fight for yourselves before people start associating with you. I have dropped songs, but for people to like and share is very difficult. When they heard something bad about you quickly, they will share it.
What has been your challenge so far in your music career
My brother, money has been the major problem because there is no how you will try to make good music without money for the studio, the shooting of the video, and promoting the song. You have to spend and spend. I have made up my mind to do aggressive publicity between now and December because next year will be a landmark for me in the music industry.
Presently, where are you?
Well, I just left Nigeria not quite a while ago, I am in Spain now. I am planning by December or January I should be back to Nigeria to raise more awareness of my music and also to tight my bet hard to give my fans good music with good production.
