I’m Coming To Govern With Empathy- JANDOR

The Lagos State Peoples Democratic Party electioneering campaign has been intensified under the leadership of governorship candidate Dr. Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran with the ongoing 245-ward tour in Lagos state.

Meeting with the Ndigboamaka Progressive Markets Association which comprising 58 major markets in the state, Dr. Adediran promised to govern with empathy if elected in 2023 General Elections.

The meeting was held at the association’s secretariat in FESTAC in Amuwo Odofin on the 27th of Oct. In the FESTAC town.

Visiting Amuwo odofin, on day 9 of his campaign, it’s an additional effort in his campaign as  Amuwo odofin is known as the political university of PDP in Lagos state according to the Hon. Anjus Babatunde the chairman of Lagos Local govt. publicity secretary Amuwo-Odofin is known as the Igbo ethnic residential area who had been devoting their vote for PDP over the years.

Dr. Adediran made it known in his statement that it’s only the PDP that has given rear privileges for other ethnic groups to be part of the electoral process in representing their tribe in governance in Lagos state, being the fact that they have produced the House of Representative and Councilor in the axis.

Moreover, he said Igbo is the power hub of internal generation revenue (IGR) in Lagos state, knowing fully well that Igbo has taken a high position in the business transaction that brings money to the purse of Lagos state.

Without Igbo, Lagos can’t be an economic power hub in West Africa, being the fact that they are in every part of the country.

Jandor salutes the commitment of the Ndigboamaka in Lagos state despite the harsh conditions of the economic situation of the country, especially, Lagos. He mentions the irrational way at which Lagos state government treats the market people that boost the economy of the state.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate emphasized that his government is to show empathy to the Lagosians and everyone living or transacts in the state

He states further, “where you make money, you don’t threaten the people basically because one person had committed a certain offense,”

He said, rather than close their livelihood business, he would deal with whoever committed the offense” likewise, whoever wants to cripple the economy of the state will be dealt with not the whole market.

The resolute governorship candidate stated emphatically that when the Ladipo market got fire, he took his time to visit the market to identify with them just to know where the problem lies and the solution to their problems in the environment he then promised that if he becomes the governor of Lagos state, he will make sure that there is a fire station in the market to prevent further occurrence of fire outbreaks.

The Indigbo Amaka promised to throw weight behind the PDP candidate and promised to give him the massive support needed to win the upcoming election in Lagos state.
