Danger looms in PDP as Gov. Wike refuses to pick Atiku’s calls

Danger looms since Atiku Abubakar chooses Gov. Okowa as his running mate without consulting Wike on the way forward for the party.

The runner-up in PDP presidential candidate Gov. Wike has been denied access to some vital decision-making of the party, since he has lost the presidential primary election to the formal vice president Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

this was confirmed on the national TV yesterday. By the Gov. of Benue state Gov. Ortom who said, Wike, has been disfranchised from all information and decision from PDP since after the Primary Election. Most especially, on the decision to pick Alhaji Atiku Abubakar’s running mate.

He goes further to narrate what transpired after the election in searching for the former vice president’s running mate. Gov. ortom said he doesn’t blame Wike for not picking up anybody’s call, but, the lame Atiku for not coming to Wike directly rather kept calling him on phone. Perhaps the outcome of the decision for deciding PDP presidential running mate, 14 out of 17 chose Wike to be the Vice President, but the presidential flag bearer chooses his preferred person without consulting Gov. Wike. This decision has made wike who has been the pillar of the party furious without picking up anybody’s call and began to wear a Yoruba cap since then, which is symbolic of showing it is the turn of the south.
